Today, the kids were in an extra snuggly mood. They were hugging each other all day and Sophie crawled up onto the futon to snuggle with, no not me, but Reed. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I know this kind of sibling love will not last long, so I am trying to get as many pictures of it as I can and hopefully when they reach that point of not liking each other anymore, I can pull out these pictures and remind them that they used to love each other.

Sophie
Sophie is growing by leaps and bounds and this video depicts that pretty well. It's a longer video, but you catch her talking, buckling her snow suit and her funny grunting as she tries to take it back apart. She grunts all the time now and it is so funny because Chris and I find ourselves grunting when we pick her up and stuff so she has started doing the same. She's such a silly girl.
Lego Tower
Reed loves playing with Legos, but he will only take one shape of lego and build the tallest tower until he's used every single last one of that certain shape. He was especially proud of this one because it was taller than him.

Kid's Night Out
Every year on Dec. 23rd, my parents babysit all grand kids while us three kids and our spouses go out for dinner and a night of fun. It is the one time a year that we all get to go out together without kids and have some fun and do some sibling and sibling - in - law bonding. It's always great fun. This year, we went to a restaurant named "Rustica" in downtown Kalamazoo. Pretty good food, great wine and good service. We had a lot of fun.
